Competitive FIFA 19 action returned to London’s Gfinity Arena on the weekend of 5–7 April, where the 64 best FIFA 19 players in the world battled it out to lift the FUT Champions Cup trophy – and a share of $200,000 in prize money.

The event was streamed live via the EA Sports FIFA channels to millions of fans around the world, all made possible thanks to two of our EVS ChannelMAX-capable XT3s, an XFile3 live file archive and 20TB of Avid NEXIS Storage.

The ultimate winner was Msdossary – who features in Gravity Media blogs for the second time, as he also won the FIFA eWorld Cup in August 2018. Widely regarded as the best FIFA player in the world, the young Saudi gamer (real name Mossad Aldossary) saw off competition from highly ranked Donovan ‘F2Tekkz’ Hunt in the group stage, and went on to defeat Thuillier ‘MaestroSquad’ Corentin in the Grand Final.

Next up, we’ll be supporting NEP UK with the Call of Duty World League event taking place from the 3–5 May at the Copper Box Arena. Hailed as the biggest COD event outside of America, the tournament in London’s Olympic Park will see 16 pro teams compete in the main event, playing for a share of $325,000 in prize money. The HyperActive setup will include three EVS ChannelMAX XT3s.
