Red Bull Hardline is hailed as one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world. For 2019, the event returned to the hills of Dyfi Valley in mid-Wales for two days of mud, adrenaline and cojones from the 14th to 15th September.

30 mountain bikers from all over the world and across all MTB disciplines headed to Snowdonia to take part in this year’s competition. The only thing in their way was a brutal part-downhill-part-freeride track, unpredictable Welsh weather and 29 other bonkers mountain bikers who also wanted to win.

With gigantic step-ups (whatever that might mean), 65ft gaps and speeds of up to 40mph, the 2019 Hardline course was deemed one of the toughest in the UK, if not the world. Gnarly.

HyperActive supplied NEP UK with eight Canon HJ14 wide-angle lenses to cover the event.
