ITV chose Gravity Media (as HyperActive) to supply an EVS record solution for the NHS Heroes Awards, aired on Monday 21 May and hosted by Paul O’Grady.
Prince William, Sir Elton John and Dame Shirley Bassey led the tributes at the star-studded event, which was designed to honour “the incredible medical staff and also the dedicated work of porters, cleaners and the army of volunteers without whom the NHS could not function.”
The NHS Heroes Awards were part of national celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS, offering an insight into some of the incredible, life-saving and vital work that NHS staff do in Britain every day.
Celebrities such as Michael Sheen, Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver and Sir Tom Jones were in attendance at the glittering ceremony held at London’s Hilton on Park Lane. And Gravity Media’s engineers were onsite with OB partner Telegenic to support and capture the evening’s event.
