Hyperactive Broadcast is a leading post production and video workflow solutions company that has a great opportunity for a Post Production Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Post Production Engineer you will be working as part of a close-knit team that design, build and install a large array of non-linear editing and video workflow systems on-site for outside broadcast and on location productions such as major sports and music events and major film and TV productions. Within the role you will provide remote and on-site support to the deployed systems ensuring faults are identified quickly and efficiently and escalating where required. Additionally, you will also provide support to the company's post-production facility and range of dry hire equipment.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have previously worked with a television broadcaster, post production house or OB facility in a technical support capacity and have strong experience of supporting either EVS or Avid systems (EVS video servers, IP Director, XT Access servers, Interplay, ISIS), however experience across both would be highly desirable. You should also have excellent fault-finding skills and be comfortable client facing, and working in high pressure environments when needed.
Due to the nature of this role there will be a high degree of travel across the UK and internationally, staying away on site when required, so a flexible approach to travel and working hours is essential.
This is a great opportunity to join a company that has an excellent reputation with its clients, giving you the chance to work on exciting television and film productions in the UK and internationally. If you feel this is the right role for you and if you are fully eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
