ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to Gravity Media Australia’s Head of Operations, the Production Manager is responsible for providing assistance to the team with their assigned projects. This includes but is not limited to crewing support, raising purchase orders, general administration duties, travel and expense claims. You will help to ensure the smooth running of all productions, problem solving and troubleshooting when necessary. You will use your great communication skills to liaise with relevant stakeholders and maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and crew.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with scheduling and coordination of resources for the department and assigned projects. This includes crew, logistics, vehicles and equipment etc.;
  • Prioritise work and liaise with other team members to maximise resources and efficiencies;
  • Meet delivery schedules within project time-frames;
  • Process time-sheets, purchase orders, invoices etc. in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Maintain positive relationships with the freelance community and team members;
  • Liaise and coordinate with suppliers as required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE        

  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to efficiently prioritise multiple projects under pressure;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Initiative driven with strong problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to meet task deadlines;
  • A good attitude and the desire to grow within our business;
  • Able to take direction and instructions;
  • Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
