Based within our global Media Services function, this role is part of a team developing and implementing the S&OP and asset management strategy for the Group. This will be supported by high quality asset management systems, policies and procedures designed to achieve optimal return on investment and effective deployment of EMG/Gravity Media’s assets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of and support the implementation of EMG/GM’s asset management plans, monitor and report on performance to optimise the value of the asset portfolio.
  • Support the group wide sales effort ensuring the S&OP process is optimised
  • Determine efficient and cost-effective asset allocation to achieve optimal return on investments whilst reducing costs.
  • Identification, analysis and recommendation of asset procurement, upgrade and resale.
  • Support the implementation of and promote adherence to effective asset management principles across the organisation.
  • Contribute to defining appropriate frameworks, processes and standards to be applied to the acquisition and disposal of assets, ensuring compliance with financial, legal and commercial principles.
  • Support the development and implementation of appropriate business systems to support management of and required MI relating to all broadcast assets in all locations.
  • Assist in the development of financial models, perform financial analyses and asset management analyses, and recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Driving a greater commercial appreciation for protection of asset values in a context where commerciality is still evolving over time.
  • Support the Asset manager drive down the overall maintenance capex requirement for the business over time .
  • Help optimise the long-term return on capital deployed by the business.
  • Ensure the based economical outcome with 3rd party x-hire suppliers.

Requirements

  • Reporting to the Group Assets Manager – EMG/Gravity Media Watford on all areas of the business globally.
  • A relevant Degree and/or minimum 2 years experience in an equivalent role.
  • High level of competency in Microsoft O365 suite of products.
  • Ability to work calmly when under pressure.
  • Attend weekly team meetings.
  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm but due to the nature of the business you will sometimes be required to work outside of normal hours.
