Gravity Media Australia is looking for an Engineering Administrator who thrives on coordination, communication, and keeping technology moving at lightning speed.

As the Engineering Administrator, you’ll be the central hub for all things related to equipment repairs and maintenance. You’ll work closely with engineers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to make sure everything gets fixed, tracked, and delivered – on time and in top condition.

You will be reporting directly to the Workshop Engineering Manager, working full time in our Mascot Facility.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Being the go-to contact for equipment repairs across the company.
  • Coordinating the movement and tracking of faulty gear with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Keeping our online Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) system updated and accurate.
  • Supporting the workshop team with minor fixes, purchase orders, and equipment checks.
  • Making sure repaired gear gets back in the game quickly – and replacements are ready to go if not.
  • Communicating clearly and often – if something’s missing or delayed, you’re already on it.

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you will be a proactive team player who can work autonomously and have:

  • 2-3 + year’s experience in an administrative role. Warehouse, working with stock parts/assets or Broadcast TV experience is a bonus, but not a requirement.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Xcel for spreadsheets.
  • Experience in eMaint software is a plus.
  • Love keeping systems organized and running smoothly.
  • Enjoy solving logistical puzzles and keeping many moving parts in sync.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. You will have a knack for communicating across multiple departments and suppliers.
  • Take pride in detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Are proactive, curious, and always looking for ways to do things better.

Why Join Gravity Media?

  • Work behind the scenes of major broadcast TV productions.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic, supportive, and passionate team.
  • Learn, grow, and develop your career in broadcast engineering.
  • Be part of a company that values initiative, reliability, and innovation.
