The Commercial Projects Manager is part of the team responsible running major projects on behalf of Production, including client and internal account management, project management and building relationships as well as new business and RFPs.

The Role

The Commercial Projects Manager is part of the team responsible running major projects on behalf of Production, including client and internal account management, project management and building relationships as well as new business and RFPs.

Responsibilities

Supporting Head of Production Projects as directed:

• Account management of some key clients alongside and as directed by Head of PP

• Project management of some major accounts alongside and as directed by Head of PP

• Support Head of PP in achieving targets set out in GM Chiswick and WW business plan

• Generate pipeline of potential new clients and help explore new revenue streams for WW and Chiswick

• Maintain and expand industry contacts book, attending networking events, trade shows and conferences. Leverage existing industry contacts to build new client relationships

• Support the delivery of RFP and tender responses with Head of PP and Director of Production

Commercial

• Leverage existing industry contacts to build new client relationships.

• Identify and prioritise potential leads, new business lines and projects based on the wider Group’s strategy.

• Organise meetings and attend industry events (e.g. trade shows, conferences) to identify potential new leads.

RFP / Tender response

•Support the Company quotation / tender response process which includes writing, planning and pulling together high-level presentations and documentation from a technical and commercial perspective.

• Pitching for work alongside the Head of PP and Director of Production

Account Management

• Act as the account manager for some key clients.

• Help identify opportunities for sales across the group as well as the company (including upsell and cross-sell opportunities)

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of five + years’ experience in the sports media industry in a technical role

Substantial production or commercial experience across live and post production – either within production management or editorial or technical

Technical experience/understanding across live and/or post production – either within studio or OB projects Experience

A network of existing client relationships within the broadcast and media sector

Experience of TV production workflows

Experience putting together budgets and documentation

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent writing skills

Strong numerical literacy

Technical understanding

PowerPoint skills

Ability to use Excel

Ability to work well in a team

Understanding of RFP/tender response process
