ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Broadcast Schedules Coordinator to join our team.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Broadcast Schedules Coordinator with Gravity Media. As a Schedules Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our channel scheduling processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

This is a full-time role based in Sydney or Melbourne, supporting a 24/7 Horseracing channel. Part-time candidates with flexibility will also be considered.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage the daily scheduling of programs, commercials, and promotions.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely schedule information to relevant departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on program changes, cancellations, and rescheduling.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of program logs and schedules.
  • Generate and distribute reports related to scheduling activities.
  • Manage the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) listings including program changes, titles and synopses so that accurate program listings are always displayed
  • Provide support and assistance to the Commercial Inventory team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven experience in a scheduling or administrative role, preferably in the broadcast media industry
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Horse racing knowledge an advantage, but not essential.
