JOB PURPOSE

Based at our state-of-the-art Production Facility, WestWorks, the Client Manager will work as part of the client services team acting as the main point of contact for one of our biggest clients, ATP Media. This individual will be expected to be at the forefront of the contract working alongside the wider Gravity Media team covering 60 events a year.  The role requires constant communication with  ATP Media over technical and operational matters, also acting as the point of escalation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a multi-year tier 1 sports contract across both Onsite and WestWorks operations
• Act as the conduit between ATP Media and Gravity Media to continually drive for improvement and progression
• Lead WestWorks technical teams across all tiers of the ATP Media contract ensuring delivery excellence and contractual compliance
• Lead a dedicated Production and Project Management team within Gravity Media
• Continually assess performance and maintain client satisfaction
• Technical planning and coordination with the engineering and operational teams
• Collaborate with other Gravity Media departments and distribute information
• Attentive to ATP Media’s requests in a timely fashion
• Implement and track reporting combined with escalation procedures
• Involvement in crewing, logistics and technical workflows
• Drive innovation and development in conjunction with ATP Media and other Gravity Media departments
• Deal with disputes and complaints from ATP Media and other service providers
• Involvement in scheduling and resource allocation
• Create technical documentation
• Negotiating and achieving multi-year deals with suppliers
• Manage budget spend and variation
• Promote safe working practices and ensure H&S regulations are met
• Organise and chair regular debrief and progress meetings with ATP Media
• Occasional international travel to visit Onsite productions

EXPERIENCE PROFILE

• Previous experience delivering large scale broadcast projects as Unit Manager or Facility Manager either on Outside Broadcasts or in a Production Centre
• ​​Proven track record of leadership
• Client and account management experience
• Extensive understanding of the broadcast industry across a variety of positions and platforms
