Mental Health and Wellbeing at Gravity Media

At Gravity Media, we understand the importance of empowering our managers to champion positive mental health and wellbeing both during these unprecedented times and beyond.

Taking time to commit time out of the normal ‘day to day’ for learning is essential, as the impact of COVID-19 has been felt across our global business, with not one individual left un-impacted by it, and we are conscious of the long term impact COVID-19 will have on our colleagues’ mental health and wellbeing.

In the UK, using the resources available from the CIPD, Mind, and the Health and Safety Executive, we have rolled out Mental Health and Wellbeing workshops remotely to our people managers.

These sessions aimed to deliver a simple toolkit to people managers, so they understand their role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of their teams.  This is achieved by them being able to understand what defines ‘Good Mental Wellbeing’, how to begin a discussion relating to mental health and wellbeing, formulating a ‘Wellbeing Action Plan’, following up in an impactful way, and ensuring the range of internal and external supports available are understood by people managers so they can confidently inform in the appropriate way.
