Here at Gravity House, Gravity Media’s Soho-based cutting rooms, we are doing what we can to help our clients cope with the impact of the corona virus and keep their people as safe as they can.
We have made cleaning solutions available throughout the building, regular COVID19 updates are posted throughout the day and additional cleaning staff have been rostered until further notice. All our staff are abiding to both national and internal guidelines pertaining to the containment of the virus. We have also put in place a number of preventive operational measures to ensure minimal interference and touch points of all deliveries.
However, some of our clients have decided to move to home working for their post-production teams. Over the past week we have helped four clients relocate over 30 people from Gravity House in Frith Street to locations all over London, setting up their Avid editing systems and being on-hand to help with any technical issues.
Of course, many people do not have the space or facilities at home that can replicate one of our edit suites in Soho. We have therefore repurposed some of our suites at our Production Centre in Chiswick and made them available to those based in west London who do not want to travel into the centre.
