Gravity Media appoints Kay Dammholz as an advisor in Europe

Sports media professional Kay Dammholz has been appointed as an advisor to Gravity Media in Germany and the rest of continental Europe.

Kay will be working with Ed Tischler, Managing Director for Gravity Media in the UK & Europe, and Steve Norris, Director of Production & Content for Gravity Media on developing new business opportunities in the German and other European markets

As the media and production industry recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic and begins to reinvent itself, Kay’s vast experience in sports broadcasting and of working with sports federations will assist Gravity Media to be at the forefront of the industry’s rejuvenation in 2021.

Kay founded multi-skilled sports marketing boutique agency SASS Media in 2018 and specialises in international media rights, sports sponsorship, and investments advisory in sports.

Kay studied economics at the University of Constance, as well as international business at the French business school EAP/ESCP in Oxford, Madrid, and Paris. After starting his career in sports marketing agencies like ISL/Challenge, Sportfive and Kentaro, he took global responsibility for the Bundesliga’s international media rights sales as Vice President Sales for DFL Sports Enterprises from 2008 to 2016. More recently, Kay Dammholz played a key role in the development and success of the disruptive sports streaming provider DAZN as Managing Director Rights & Distribution (DACH).
