Gravity Media teams were out in force, covering two second-round fixtures from this season’s FA Cup.
First up was a trip to Essex on Friday 29 November for Maldon & Tiptree v Newport County, where League Two Newport waited until the 91st minute to score a winner against their eighth-tier opponents. The Gravity Media team was onsite at the Maldon Stadium, providing its usual post-production support to BBC Sport.
Then, on Saturday 30th, our UK-based OB truck Pictor had its first run-out as host broadcaster of FA Cup football, making the trip to the south coast for Portsmouth v Altrincham on behalf of The Production Centre, London. It was another stoppage-time goal that proved decisive, with Brett Pitman snatching a 2-1 victory for Portsmouth after a spirited performance from National League North Altrincham.
The third round matches take place on the weekend of 4th January 2020.
